Resident Manager

Location: Beacon Hill, Pittsburgh PA

Reports To: Property Manager

As a Resident Manager, you will represent your community and our company to prospects and residents by ensuring the community is maintained in top condition. You are responsible for maintaining high occupancy through your leasing efforts.

Essential Responsibilities

Greet customers, explain our pricing, conduct tour of our apartments and community common areas

Following up on customer leads and helping to coordinate marketing efforts

Perform grounds keeping duties

Perform apartment make-readies for future residents

Handle after-hours emergency maintenance

Minor repairs on all appliances

Light electrical repairs

Light plumbing work

Maintain common area cleanliness

Snow removal during winter season

Maintain positive relations with all community vendors

High-energy – this is a busy hands-on job!

Good verbal communications skills

Organized and detail-oriented

Good record-keeping skills for work orders, parts orders, inventory and service request follow-up

Able to multitask

Some plumbing, electrical and miscellaneous maintenance experience

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Desired Work Experience

2+ years in multifamily housing management
